Pilgrims and Indians...

Remember playing that game when you were little? Well, FishAides has been at it again... For our Thanksgiving dinner, we all dressed up as Pilgrims and Indians- or should I say Native Americans? We had a grand time overwhelming Luby's and watching everyone's reactions.

And of course, the execs. If you're wondering, yes, I was the only Pilgrim. However, I did acquire their land eventually.

The Nana.

I managed to spend the past four days in Dallas with most of my best friends enjoying Spencer Leadership Conference. Despite all the amazing speakers, food, and places, Saturday night happened to be one of the most fun evenings of this semester.

We stayed at the Anatole Hotel and on the top floor was The Nana. The Nana is a beautiful five star club on the twenty-seventh floor with panoramic views of Dallas, but what made it so perfect was the jazz band. They were flawless and extremely talented. We heard them warming up in the lobby, started talking to them, and they invited us to the club to dance.

It was almost midight, but we dressed up and went anyway. Ten of us spent the next hour enjoying dancing and each other. From the gorgeous night views of Dallas to the beauty of the club and the lightness of the music, it was a perfect way to end the beautiful weekend.

Life update...

Just wanted to share a bit about what's going on these days.

FishAides Reunion BBQ was this past weekend and great fun. It was beautiful 88 degree November weather- perfect for some kickball and frisbee.



Meet Will, Carl, and Chris, some of our amazing new FishAides and future leaders of the world. They were cool enough to spend Friday evening at my house, and I got to enjoy some of the best conversation I've had all semester.



This is the beautiful Sarah Grimme and I. We got to have some serious studying bonding time this past weeked... have I mentioned that I just love this girl?



Ah, Paige Holt, one of my bestest friends. This girl is simply amazing! She keeps me sane and keeps me laughing at life and at myself.

That's going to have to be it for tonight. I have to study for accounting...
